Glow-in-the-Dark Moon Chalice Ornament

The design is based on the official symbol of the Unitarian Universalist religious denomination, which is symbolized by a flaming chalice enclosed inside either one or two golden circles (depending on the particular design). For this ornament, I made a variation where I substituted the flame for a half-moon with a sleeping face. I created this ornament during one of the workshops at a religious retreat and I used glow-in-the-dark polymer clay. This ornament was donated to the annual auction at Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church in November, 2006.
