Type of Doll: Barbie that was purchased used from a thrift store.
Size: 29 cm/11.5 inches
Hair: Light brown
Eyes: Blue
Lips: Maroon
Outfit Description: Wears an outfit that I designed using suggestions from Tina Casey's book Fabulous Fashion Doll Clothing You Can Make. Fairy wings were made out of polymer clay then glued on the outfit. Glass leaf beads were glued directly on the fairy wings.

Here is what this doll looked like when I first bought her from the thrift store. She came with this really cute halter dress that was not very suitable as a fairy outfit. |
The construction of the halter dress (which had no back) would've made it very difficult to glue on the fairy wings. |
So I made her a new dress that could easily hold fairy wings. |

I glued some glass leaf beads on the corners of the fairy wings as accents. |
