Here is what this doll looked like when I first bought her from the thrift store. She came with a dress that I was able to use. (Most thrift store dolls tend to be sold nude.)

Here is a back view of the doll as she originally looked. She had these neat braids that I kept, along with the big red flower in her hair.

Here she is when I first finished refurbishing her in 2006. I added fairy wings and gold ribbon trim at the bottom hem of her dress. Despite my efforts, she failed to sell at several craft shows I displayed her in.

Here is the doll after her second makeover, where I added pointed fairy ears to her head.

Fairy ears were made out of air-dry clay before being attached to the sides of her head. (They were painted in flesh color after they were dried.)

Despite that second makeover, this doll failed to sell. So I did a third makeover where I removed her fairy ears.

The third makeover was the charm since I sold this doll.
