Little Green Outfit

Type of Doll This Outfit Fits:1/12 scale doll (6 inches/10 cm).
Pattern It's Based On: Both the tunic and pants pattern came from Venus A. Dodge's book The Dolls' Dressmaker. (I had to resize the pattern in order to fit a tiny doll.)
Outfit Description: The green tunic and pants were made out of a quarter-square quilt fabric that's sold in Jo-Ann's Fabrics and Crafts for $1.99 a square. Gold trim on the hem of the tunic, tunic sleeves, and pants hem was painted directly on the fabric using a combination of metallic gold acrylic paint and sparkly varnish.
Date I Finished Work on It: January 6, 2008

This outfit is modeled in the photos by a Bobobie Sunny doll. Click on any photo below to see a larger version of the same photo open in a new window.
