The chiton was a type of robe that was worn in ancient Greece. Both men and women wore the chiton and the outfit itself could be worn long or short (like the one in the photos below).

Outfit Description: The fabric was made out of a quarter-square quilt fabric that's sold in Jo-Ann's Fabrics and Crafts for $1.99 a square. It has been trimmed with a Greek-style pattern ribbon on the top and bottom and two shoulder accents made out of sparkling gold polymer clay. The chiton is tied at the waist with a gold cord.
