Cool Velvet

This is an example of an outfit that anyone with limited time and/or money can whip up quickly.

Type of Doll This Outfit Fits: 1/3 scale doll (22-24 inches/60 cm).
Pattern It's Based On: The pants were based on a pattern in Venus A. Dodge's book The Dolls' Dressmaker.
Outfit Description: The tube top is really a human-sized wristband that I purchased in a local Claire's store. The pants were made out of black velvet and the bottom hem was trimmed with a special beaded ribbon that I purchased at a local Jo-Ann's Fabrics & Crafts store.
