Lunar New Year, February 18, 2007

Today much of Asia is celebrating the Lunar New Year. I happened to be outside today when I saw these two tiny yellow crocuses peeking up through the snow and ice in our front yard. So I took my tiny Orient Doll Ji and her even smaller pig friend and took a photo of them next to the crocuses.

According to the traditional Asian calendar, 2007 is the Year of the Boar, which is why I had a pig in the photo. The pig is from a line of the recently released Only Hearts Pets that I found at Target a few weeks ago.
